About our weekend at Whittingham and Goosnargh
Goosnargh is one of Lancashire"s many pleasant villages, amongst the many interesting features is the medieval Chingle Hall, which has the reputation of being England"s most haunted building. You can also visit the delightful wooded valley of Savick Brook overlooked by the facade of Haighton House and Lady Well, an ancient spring revered for its healing properties.

If you fancy a drive out Beacion Fell Country Park is only 6 miles away. It has been a Country Park since 1970 and is situated on the edge of the "Forest of Bowland Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty" although it is separated from the other hills in the Forest.
